GFBiochemicals produces levulinic acid derivatives at commercial scale from biomass. . The company was founded in 2008. A number of industrial experts who are devoted to create a better world by finding sustainable alternatives to oil-based products across a range of market sectors. They developed the production technology needed for this revolution in chemicals, in partnership with the University of Pisa and the Polytechnic University of Milan and subsequently technology for producing in toll manufacturing, which they do today.
